Hello,
everyone. Now I share with you my opinion on globalization. Don't forget to
comment and give any feedback you want馃構
1.
Having read the previous texts. What do you think can be the effects of
globalization in Chile? Mention 2.
- The way in which the opportunity for jobs is
distributed between those that are local and those that are by larger companies
takes away the opportunity for those small businesses looking to push their own
ideas.
- Communication between different countries is faster than
before and can be used to learn about the situation and way of life in other
societies.
2.
Do you think globalization is a reversible process? Yes, No? Justify your
answer.
- No,
society adapts to changes and is constantly waiting for new ones. Today's
technology and lifestyle is too fast-paced to go back. Trying to remove the
changes that globalization has brought us would bring bad results, since many
the resources we use to carry out our daily activities would be modified, since
they are the way they are due to the technological advances that have been
made, whether in health, communications, education, transportation, etcetera.
I agree with your answer to question 1. Multinational companies are gradually consuming small and medium-sized companies, which does not benefit local production, but these companies can also use some multinationals as a base to achieve expansion throughout the world. It is not easy to say it compared to doing it, but if a small Chilean company manages to become a multinational then it could help expand the Chilean economy, as is the case with Bimbo in Mexico or American M贸vil, of course now the competition is more fierce. I don't know, it really is a complicated subject.
ResponderBorrarI agree that small businesses can be affected by globalization, I believe that if a country is going to let foreign companies enter its territory it must first protect the local ones.
ResponderBorrarI agree with you, the impact of globalization on our daily lives has made us reorganize our activities, preferences, consumer behaviors and more. I see the reversal difficult of such a phenomenon
ResponderBorrarI agree with you, with globalization there's been so many beneficial changes that if we tried to take them away it would create chaos in society, especially with social media being as present as it is.

ResponderBorrarI also believe that globalization is not a reversible process and that society is becoming more and more adherent.
I also believe that it will be counterproductive if we try to go back as we were before globalization. There are already too many processes, commercial and economic polices, agreements among countries, societies used to technology... it's really impossible to modify everything as we know it today.
